Naturallyliz, your soy free and allergen resource, is all about living more naturally-soy free, gluten free, dealing with food sensitivities or other health issues. We will be providing resources, recipes, tips, tricks, and recommendations (good & bad) for living more naturally.
When I first found out that I had an allergy to soy, I spent an inordinate amount of time researching. I dug and read and dug some more. I spent all my free time trying to find solutions to keep myself “safe” and quit having reactions.
Along the way, I found little bits and pieces of helpful information, and went down TONS of rabbit holes. Now, don’t get me wrong, the occasional internet rabbit hole can be a good thing, BUT….. I spent so much time and effort reading about allergies, labeling, products, alternative names for soy, and so on, that I was frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted! My anxiety levels were at an all time high. Its like my brain treated every piece of food like it was a hand grenade just waiting to go off!
At the time, it would have been really helpful to find a clear concise resource. Well, I don’t want anyone else to go through all of that anxiety and turmoil. My goal is to give you a thorough overview, concise and accurate information, a reference of “safe” products to try and a bunch of reference resources for your own research. The first reference piece, There’s soy in that? Other names for soy and common hiding places is ready.
